Clamping the bottom panel scarf joint

Because of the top set of planks you won't be able to easily see the scarf joint in
the bottom panels. You will need to lift up the waxed paper and look at their edges so that you can see where you should nail through
the top panel to clamp the bottom scarf.
note: the wax paper has been removed and the panels have been moved to make it easier to see in this picture.
When you are sure of the location of the scarf in the bottom panel, place your plywood pads directly over the lower scarf joint and nail through the pads, the top planks, and the bottom plank's scarf. The process of gluing scarfs is the same for the rest of the planks. Repeat the previous steps with the other 5 sets of planks.
