Cutting the ties and checking the fillets

When the epoxy is completely cured, remove all of the cable ties with a knife or a pair of
diagonal or end cutters. This is the time that the hull is most
fragile, so take extra care handling it until the outside laps are filled.
Being careful not to put too much stress on the hull, sand the partial
fillets between the keel ties if necessary to remove any roughness or high
spots and make a continuous fillet along the full length of the keel joint,
radiusing it with a tongue depressor. Also check along the length of each of the inside laps for any places that might have voids or that were missed. If you find any, re-fillet them carefully.
