Finally cutting
Now that you have your ShopBot calibrated and fine tuned it's time to start cutting. When you're sure that the first sheet of plywood is in the correct position, use whatever holddown system you decide on and turn on your router. Type (FP, then select (scarf4mm) to cut the stepped scarf in 4mm plywood or (scarf125) if you're trying the 1/8" luaun. When this panel is finished cutting, carefully slide it off of your ShopBot and load the second sheet, lining it up the same way you did the first one. Run the scarf file again with this sheet.
When the scarfs are cut in both pieces of plywood, change to your 1/8" bit to do the rest of the cutting. Slide the sheet of plywood over just enough to expose some of the table top and re-zero the z-axis with the 1/8" bit. When it's zeroed, slide the plywood back into place and click the sheet1.sbp shortcut to cut the full length planks.

After that file has finished, remove this sheet from
the ShopBot and put on the first sheet that you cut the scarf in, with the scarf at the same end as the first but flipped over this time so that
the scarfed side is down. This insures that both gains are on the same side of the planks when the scarfs are glued up. Make sure that the corner of the
plywood sheet is at the corner of the table, then click the sheet2.sbp shortcut.

When each sheet is finished cutting, slide it off onto your work table an label the plank parts. The order of planks is the same on both sheets, so starting from the edge of the sheet of plywood it's 6, 5, 1, 2, 3, and 4, with the opposite side a mirror image. The number 1 plank is the top most or Sheer strake, and the number 6 plank is the garboard; the one closest to the keel. When they're all labeled, cut the planks out the rest of the way with a utility knife. If any of the holes in these planks don't go all of the way through, finish the job with a small nail or an 1/8" drill bit.
